Chadwick D. Meyers

Chad earned his Juris Doctor (JD) from the Nashville School of Law. His dedication to pro bono work during his studies earned him the Law Student for Justice recognition from the Supreme Court of Tennessee. Chad’s legal expertise has been acknowledged with numerous awards, such as the National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40 (2020-2024) and the Top Personal Injury Law Firm in Nashville (2020-2024). 

He is also an active member of several esteemed organizations, including the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association (serving on the Board, Legislative Committee, and Membership Committee), the Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the National Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association of Justice, the Association of Truck Accident Attorneys, and Trial Lawyers for Justice.

Zhilia Rashid, Paralegal 

Zhilia serves as a litigation paralegal at Meyers Injury Law. Originally from Kurdistan, Iraq, she moved to the United States at the age of 9, where she quickly adapted to a new culture and language. Zhilia graduated from Antioch High School and later earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Pre-Law from Middle Tennessee State University, laying a strong foundation for her legal career. 

With over four years of experience in complex litigation, she has developed a keen understanding of legal procedures and documentation. Her previous position at a prominent personal injury firm provided her with critical insights into the legal system, enabling her to manage a variety of cases with precision and care. At Meyers Injury Law, Zhilia leverages her extensive experience and dedication. Fluent in Kurdish, she adds linguistic and cultural diversity to the team.

Lily Thieman, Case Manager

Lily’s academic journey started at Page High School, where she excelled in both academics and athletics. Her leadership skills and dedication led her to participate in various extracurricular activities, setting the stage for her future pursuits. After graduating, Lily attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) to further her education.

At UTC, Lily majored in Criminal Justice, demonstrating her passion for justice and commitment to her studies. Lily’s ambition to advocate for others led her to join the Pre-Law Society, where she deepened her understanding of legal studies and gained valuable insights into the legal profession. She also completed clerkships at several law firms, gaining practical experience and honing her skills under the mentorship of experienced professionals.
