Helping Clients Feel Heard From the Start

Isabelle Wilson, Intake Coordinator and Legal Assistant

Isabelle Wilson is an intake coordinator and legal assistant at Meyers Personal Injury Law in Brentwood. She works with potential and current clients, helps gather important information and documentation, and supports the team as personal injury cases move forward in Brentwood and Nashville.

Because intake is often someone’s first interaction with the firm, Isabelle understands the importance of listening carefully. People may contact Meyers Personal Injury Law while dealing with an injury, medical treatment, insurance questions, missed work, and uncertainty about what to do next.

Isabelle’s goal is to make that first conversation feel less overwhelming. She wants people who speak with her to feel heard, comfortable asking questions, and confident that someone is paying attention to what they are going through.

Isabelle’s Role at Meyers Personal Injury Law

Every day looks a little different for Isabelle. She helps with new client intake, speaks with potential and current clients, gathers information and documentation, requests medical records and bills, and helps keep cases organized as they move forward with attorneys Chad Meyers and Leah Pybas.

A large part of her role involves communication. When someone first contacts Meyers Personal Injury Law, Isabelle may be one of the first people to hear what happened and learn how an injury has affected their life. She helps gather the information the legal team needs while giving potential clients a clearer idea of what the next steps may look like.

Her work continues after intake as well. Personal injury cases involve a significant amount of coordination behind the scenes, from collecting medical records and bills to verifying insurance information, contacting providers, and following up on outstanding details.

That work may not always be visible to clients, but it helps the Meyers Personal Injury Law team stay organized and keep cases moving forward.

A Client-Focused Approach

Isabelle’s interest in advocacy began before she entered the legal field. While studying global affairs and philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, she became involved in human trafficking research and advocacy. She has continued volunteering with anti-trafficking organizations in Baltimore and Nashville.

Those experiences reinforced the importance of listening carefully, particularly when someone is navigating a stressful situation and may not know what resources or options are available to them.

Isabelle brings that perspective to her work at Meyers Personal Injury Law. She knows that people often contact a personal injury firm during an unfamiliar and stressful point in their lives. She wants the people she speaks with to feel comfortable explaining what happened and asking questions about what comes next.

For Isabelle, even a conversation that makes an unfamiliar process feel a little more manageable can make a difference.

Working as Part of the Meyers Team

One of the things Isabelle values about Meyers Personal Injury Law is how closely the team works together. At a smaller firm, she is able to communicate directly with the attorneys and other team members involved in a case rather than having information separated between different departments.

That collaboration can make a practical difference for clients. If someone calls with a question, provides new information, or experiences a change in their situation, the team can communicate about it quickly and determine what needs to happen next.

Isabelle also appreciates that the firm’s structure gives her opportunities to learn directly from the attorneys and see different parts of the personal injury process. Most importantly, it allows the team to get to know the people they represent beyond the basic facts of a claim.

Beyond the Office

Outside of work, Isabelle continues to volunteer with organizations focused on combating human trafficking, an issue she became involved with while studying at the University of Notre Dame.

She also enjoys exploring Nashville, especially its restaurants and coffee shops, traveling, and following Notre Dame sports. When she is not working or volunteering, she can often be found spending time with Denver, her golden retriever.
